Tickets On Sale For America's Youth Classic

STILLWATER, Okla. - Tickets are on sale now for the America's Youth Classic sponsored by the Eddie G. Robinson Foundation.
The Classic takes place Nov. 19-20 at Gallagher-Iba Arena and will feature the Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts men's basketball teams, in their season-opening games, facing Appalachian State and Idaho. ORU, with first-year head coach Scott Sutton in his regular-season debut, plays Idaho in the opener Friday, Nov. 19, at 6:20 p.m., and OSU hosts Appalachian State at 8:40. On Saturday, ORU plays Appalachian State at 6 p.m., followed by OSU vs. Idaho at 8:30.
Fans interested in attending the Classic, which is not a part of the OSU student season-ticket package, may purchase reserved-seat tickets at $20 per night (two games each night). Students may purchase the same tickets for $15 per night. Persons interested in purchasing tickets may call the OSU athletics ticket office at (877) ALL-4-OSU or (405) 744-5745.
The Eddie G. Robinson Foundation's mission statement says, "The Eddie G. Robinson Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by the Robinson family in 1997 to serve as a catalyst for the fulfillment of the hopes and dreams of the youth of America. Through merit and need-based scholarships, grants and charitable contributions, the Foundation will create better citizens for America by providing promising youth an opportunity to excel in the most competitive society in the world. Specifically, the Foundation will assist the high school senior in realizing the goal of a college education, will foster the potential of the eighth-grade student to achieve a college education, and will grant opportunities for participation in academic and athletic encampments. Continuing Eddie G. Robinson's legacy of service, the Foundation will cultivate excellence through education."
Ranked 25th in the nation in the preseason USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll, Oklahoma State opens its exhibition season Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. against Athletes First.
