Child's Pistol Pete Birthday Party Offered To OSU Fans

Celebrate your birthday Cowboy style and have a Pistol Pete birthday party.
The cost of the party is only $50, which covers all party expenses, the only other expense is the cost of the ticket for the OSU sporting event. Tickets are usually discounted to a special group rate for Pistol Pete birthday parties.
"We had a great time, the party was held before the baseball game at the field, and the players came down and signed autographs for the kids before they warmed up," said Jennifer Burnett of Tulsa. "My son and his friends were entertained just watching the players warm-up before the game."
A Pistol Pete birthday party includes cake, pizza, drinks and a special visit by Pistol Pete himself. Birthday parties can be held before any OSU sporting event with the exception of men's basketball.
Jennifer Stewart, Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions, said Pistol Pete and OSU Athletics hosted six parties in the 1998-1999 athletic season.
"The kids had so much fun, and the parents enjoyed the convenience of minimal planning and low cost," Stewart said.
"All interested parents have to do is call and schedule the party with the promotions office and tell us how many kids will be attending," Stewart said. "We take care of things from there, its as easy at that," she said.
