Cowboys Get Ready For Chile Pepper Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's cross country team will head to the 1999 Chile Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday.
OSU will compete against teams like Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Tulsa, LSU and Dodge City Community College.
The Cowboys are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree on Oct. 2. Arkansas won the OSU-hosted meet.
Senior Chuck Sloan led the way for the Cowboys with a 14th-place finish in 24:51. His performance earned him Big 12 runner of the week honors. Sophomore Bruce Wright finished 30th in 25:54.
The men's collegiate race begins at 9:30 a.m. at Agri Park. It is the last race for the Cowboys before the Big 12 Championships on Oct. 30 in College Station, Texas.
