About me: I was once told “Your oddity is a commodity,” by a person conducting an interview with me for a teaching position. My present is a culmination of a variety of experiences from farming to sports to cooking to crafting to travel to education – and a lot in between. I enjoy opportunities to make a connection between a student’s present and their potential and often tell people that if I had known this was a real job, I would have gotten here quicker.
