Cody Barham enters his second season with the OSU coaching staff after joining as the team’s volunteer assistant coach last year. He came to Stillwater after serving in a variety of coaching roles across the state of Oklahoma.

Previously, Barham spent four seasons as an assistant and the junior varsity head coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan. There, he worked primarily with the pitching staff and oversaw the development of the outfielders.

Former OWU pitcher Jenna Daniel ranks as one of his top talents, as she was named the MCAC Pitcher of the Year in 2014 and 2015, the KCAC Pitcher of the Year in 2016 and earned NAIA Second-Team All-America honors in 2016.

Makayla Kelly also stands out as one of Barham’s prominent pupils, as she earned KCAC Second-Team All-Conference honors as a pitcher under Barham’s watchful eye. She was also honored as a gold-glove defender in the circle.

Barham has also spent time as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach at Bartlesville High School and at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
