Â
In just her first season at Baylor, Fredrick assisted the distance squad to three individual all-region finishes at the NCAA South Central Regional with both teams in the top 10. Staying stellar in the classroom, Ellie Hodge, Ryan Hodge and Drew Snyder also were recognized as All-Academic with the USTFCCCA for cross country and both teams were also recognized.
Â
She also coached Annamaria Kostarellis, who placed ninth at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 Meters and broke the Baylor school records in both the outdoor 5K and 10K. Kostarellis was also a three-time All-Big 12 honoree in her lone season with the Bears.
Â
Fredrick made her way to Baylor from her alma mater of Black Hills State University, an NCAA Division II school in Spearfish, S.D. In her one year with the Yellow Jackets, Fredrick doubled the recruiting class size from the year prior.
Â
Before returning to her alma mater, Fredrick was an assistant track & field coach at Dawson Community College in Glendive, Mont. In her time at DCC, she coached the program’s first All-America honoree in cross country. Along with the distance events, Fredrick worked most closely with sprints, middle distance and oversaw strength and conditioning efforts.
Fredrick was also an accomplished athlete during her collegiate career, earning All-America and All-Academic honors in her time. She earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference weekly honors in February 2020 after running a 4:44Â (converted) mile, which landed her No. 14 at the time that season in Division II.
Fredrick graduated high school from Cheyenne East H.S. in Cheyenne, Wyo.
