2022-23: Had a 9-1 record in open tournaments at 149 pounds in his final season as a Cowboy … Notched two tech falls and two major decisions … Took first place at the Golden Norsemen Open and registered a fourth-place finish at the Roger Denker Open … Finished his career with a 71-26 career record.
2021-22: Went 6-0 with four bonus-point victories … Started the first dual of the season for OSU where he picked up a 9-0 major decision over Stanford’s Jason Miranda … Only other dual action was a 2-0 victory over Utah Valley’s Ty Smith in his return to his home state … Took first place at the Lindenwood Open with a 4-0 record and three technical falls ... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 team for the third consecutive year.
2020-21: Went 7-4 in his senior season … Started the season as a backup at 141 behind Kaid Brock, but became the Cowboy’s starter in the Air Force dual after Brock suffered a season-ending injury … Started the next five duals putting together a 2-3 record in those outings … Was competing in the Cowboy Challenge Tournament when he sustained an injury that kept him out for the rest of the season … Was granted an extra year of eligibility due to the NCAA’s decision regarding COVID-19.
2019-20: Put together a 21-9 season at 141 pounds with a 9-7 record in duals in his first year as a starter … Picked up eight bonus-point victories for the Pokes … Went undefeated on his way to bringing home first place at the Oklahoma City Open to begin the season … Defeated No. 14 Tariq Wilson of North Carolina State in overtime on his way to a third-place finish at the Southern Scuffle … Entered the Big 12 tournament as the No. 4 seed … Went 3-1 in the Big 12 tournament, which was good for a third-place finish … Was the No. 14 seed for the NCAA Championships that were canceled … Named an NWCA Honorable mention … Excelled in the classroom as a member of the first-team Academic All-Big 12 team … A recipient of the Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, which is the Big 12 conference’s highest academic honor … Also named an NWCA Scholar All-American.
2018-19: In his return to the Cowboy roster, went 10-5 at 149 pounds … Notched two pins and two major decisions on the year … Took fourth at the Bob Smith Open and collected a second-place finish at the Reno Tournament of Champions and dropped his lone bout at the event to teammate Kaden Gfeller in the finals … Competed at the Southern Scuffle where he went 3-2 with one major decision.
2015-16: Went 18-7 during his redshirt freshman campaign ... Half of his wins came with bonus points - two pins, five technical falls and two major decisions ... Posted a 2:22 fall in his first match of the season at the OCU open ... Brought home second-place honors from the OCU and Bob Smith Opens ... Finished third at the Oklahoma Open and fourth at the Joe Parisi Open ... Also competed at the Reno Tournament of Champions.

High School: Attended Cedar City High School, where he compiled a 180-2 record under Coach Chris Hone … Became the first four-time champion from his hometown … Named four-time All-American … Won the NHSCA tournament in Virginia Beach, the Reno Tournament of Champions and the Rocky Mountain Rumble … Finished second at Folk Style Nationals in Iowa … Received Academic All-State honors in wrestling and football … Also competed in track … Member of the National Honor Society.
