2021-22: Went 17-8 as a super senior after electing to take advantage of his COVID year … Compiled a 13-4 dual record and a 7-7 mark against ranked opponents … Recorded 10 bonus-point wins on the season, including five technical falls, four major decisions and a fall … Finished the season second on the team in takedowns (80), near falls (11) and tied for the team lead in technical falls (5) … Defeated NDSU’s Deanthony Parker Jr. in the fifth-place match at the Big 12 Championships after falling behind 8-0 in the first period … Became a four-time NCAA qualifier as he received an at-large bid and the No. 16 seed in the 184-pound bracket … Collected his first fall of the season in his first round match against Missouri’s Jeremiah Kent after storming back from a 7-1 deficit to tie the match at 7-7 and eventually pinning Kent … Fell to top seed Myles Amine (MICH), 5-1, earned a takedown in sudden victory to defeat No. 18 Abe Assad (IOWA), 5-3, and dropped out of the tournament in an 18-13 loss to No. 8 Marcus Coleman (ISU).
2020-21: Returned to 184 pounds where he posted a 21-5 record as a senior … He led the Cowboys in bonus-point wins, collecting seven tech falls and seven major decisions on the year … Went 9-1 in duals and 8-3 against ranked opponents … Reached 100 wins in his collegiate career at Edinboro and Oklahoma State in a 7-1 decision over Alan Clothier of Northern Colorado in the third place match at the Big 12 Championships … Entered the NCAA Championship as the No. 11 seed in the 184 pound bracket … Opened the tournament with a 10-0 major decision against No. 22 Devin Kane (UNC) before dropping his second round bout against No. 6 John Poznanski (RUT) … Rattled off four consecutive wins in the wrestlebacks, including two top-10 wins against No. 8 Taylor Venz (NEB) and No. 5 Hunter Bolen (VT) to earn All-America honors for the third time in his career … Defeated No. 7 Brit Wilson of Northern Illinois to claim a fifth-place finish.
2019-20: Went 24-8 on the season with an 11-5 dual record at 197 pounds…Picked up six tech falls, three falls and four major decisions totaling 13 bonus-point victories on the year…Began the season wrestling at 184 pounds and claiming a share of first place with teammate Anthony Montalvo at the Oklahoma City Open before moving up to the 197 class…Took fifth place in the Southern Scuffle with two falls and a victory over No. 17 Jordan Pagano of Rutgers…Entered the Big 12 tournament as the No. 5 seed and went 5-1 to earn his second consecutive third-place finish at the tournament… Defeated third-seeded Jake Woodley to advance to the third-place match by an 8-2 decision to revenge a close loss to him earlier in the season… Seeded No. 14 in the 197 pound class at the NCAA Championships that were cancelled due to COVID-19…Earned NWCA Honorable Mention All-American recognition.
2018-19: In his first year following a transfer from Edinboro made an immediate impact for the Cowboys at 184 and 197 pounds… Compiled a 30-7 record and went 10-2 in dual bouts… Notched 15 bonus-point victories, including five falls, eight major decisions and two technical falls… Claimed first place at the OCU Open and Reno Tournament of Champions wrestling at 184 pounds… Began the dual season with a 5-0 record and three majors before making the bump to 197 pounds for the Southern Scuffle where he earned a fourth-place finish… Pinned No. 18 Randall Diabe (Appalachian State) at the event in 5:18… Remained the 197-pound starter until senior Preston Weigel’s return to the lineup at the beginning of February… Was out of the lineup for a month leading up to the Big 12 Conference tournament where he went 3-1 and brought home third-place honors for the Pokes… Entered the NCAA Championship as the No. 26 seed at 184 pounds… Knocked of NC State’s seventh-ranked Nick Reenan in the opening round, 6-0… Fought his way back from a second-round loss to Iowa State’s Sam Colbray, majoring Max Lyon (Purdue), shutting out No. 13 Nino Bonaccorsi (Pitt) and upending second-seeded Shakur Rasheed (Penn State), 4-2, in the consolation bracket… Claimed All-America honors for the first time in his career, knocking off third-seeded Zach Zavatsky (Va. 2017-18 (Redshirt Year): Compiled a 16-4 record at 184 pounds with one fall and three technical falls and major decisions competing exclusively in open tournaments … Claimed first place at the Clarion Open … Brought home runner-up finishes from the Eastern Michigan, Cleveland State and Edinboro Opens.
2016-17: Emerged as one of the top true freshman in Division I wrestling while starting at 184 pounds … Was named the Eastern Wrestling League Freshman of the Year and was also named to the 2017 Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie Team and The Open Mat.com’s All-Freshman Team… Finished the year at 31-10 and 11-4 in dual matches with 2 falls, a team-leading 8 technical falls and 5 major decisions… Was the EWL champion at 184 pounds, earning a trip to the NCAA Division I National Championships as the 14th seed and finished at 2-2… Posted a 17-0 technical fall (5:62) over Zach Nevills of Stanford in his first NCAA match before losing by fall to third-seed Sammy Brooks of Iowa in the second round… Came back with a 3-0 decision over Hunter Ritter of Wisconsin in his next match but lost to No. 6 Myles Martin of Ohio State, 12-3… Won his first PSAC title with a 5-3 decision over Clarion’s Scott Marmoll… Placed fourth at the Southern Scuffle and won the Southeast Open championship in the freshman/sophomore division… Went 5-2 at the Scuffle, losing to top-ranked Gabe Dean of Cornell and dropping the third place match to Chattanooga’s Bryce Carr, 5-2 … Picked up a pair of wins over nationally-ranked wrestlers at the Scuffle, beating No. 15 Drew Foster of Northern Iowa and No. 17 Chip Ness of North Carolina.

Finished career with a 145-13 record, one state title and two third-place finishes… Went 37-1 at 182 pounds as a junior … Became Franklin’s second PIAA champion, joining former Edinboro standout Cory Ace … Won the Northwest Regional title and was the District 10 champion … After his junior year, won FLO Wrestling’s “Who’s No.1? Tournament” … Posted a 41-1 record as a senior, winning his third regional and district titles, and finished third at 182 pound … As a sophomore, took third place at 170 pounds in the Class AA Championships, finishing 39-3 … Qualified for state championships after winning the District 10 championship and coming in second at the Northwest Regional… Finished with a 28-8 record as a freshman competing at 152 pounds… Placed sixth at the District 10 Championships.
