Santa Strombach joined the Oklahoma State women's tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant in July 2026 after serving in the same role at Houston during the 2025-26 season under head coach Katarina Adamovic.
Strombach reunited with Adamovic in Stillwater after helping Houston's coaching staff during its inaugural season together. A native of Germany, she also spent one season competing for the Cougars after a standout collegiate career at Grand Canyon.
As a student-athlete, Strombach compiled a 56-15 singles record and a 52-18 doubles mark. Following a redshirt season at Arizona, she transferred to Grand Canyon, where she earned All-WAC First Team honors in both singles and doubles in three consecutive seasons.
During her junior and senior campaigns, Strombach posted a remarkable 40-4 singles record and a 36-8 doubles mark while playing under Adamovic. The pair helped lead Grand Canyon to the 2024 WAC Tournament championship, sweeping all three opponents with Strombach clinching the championship match. The title completed just the second regular season and tournament championship sweep in program history.
Strombach set Grand Canyon's Division I single-season program records with 21 singles victories and 16 doubles wins during her junior season. She also finished her career with the highest singles (.781) and doubles (.806) winning percentages in the program's Division I era.
