Katie Norris joined the Cowgirls as the director of player development in 2023, and moved to the director of operations role prior to the 2025 season.
With Norris on staff, OSU advanced to the Women’s College World Series in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, Norris was part of a Cowgirl staff that was honored as NFCA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Prior to joining the Cowgirl Softball staff, Norris served as a grant coordinator for the OSU Department of Wellness for five years, coordinating grants for a variety of different public health-related initiatives throughout the state.
Before that, she served as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, Oklahoma. Norris worked alongside a staff named NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year in 2013. As a student-athlete, Norris attended Oklahoma from 2009-12 and earned All-Big 12 honors in her sophomore and junior seasons.
Norris graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 with a bachelor’s in health and exercise science before receiving her master’s in health promotion in 2017.
