2026 (Freshman): Played in 33 games, making 14 starts ... Excelled at the plate, hitting .343 with a .531 on-base percentage and .486 slugging percentage ... One of five Cowgirls with an OPS over 1.000 (1.017) ... Recorded 12 hits in 35 at-bats, four of which went for extra bases (three doubles, one triple) ... Logged 15 runs scored and nine RBIs ... Walked 12 times compared to just six strikeouts ... A perfect 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts ... 2:1 walk-to-strikeout ratio led the team ... High School: A four-year letterwinner from Churchill Fulshear HS where she was the 2023 and 2024 Offensive Player of the Year and three-time team MVP … The catcher/outfielder is one of three 2025 OSU signees to play for the Texas Bombers Gold under coach Scott Smith, as she compiled a .419 batting average in 2024 with 44 hits, four home runs and 26 RBIs … Helped the Bombers to a fifth-place finish at the Triple Crown Colorado Fourth of July Tournament … Also ran track for two years and played volleyball for three years.
Personal: Daughter of Leslie and Albert Castillo … Has one sister, Keely, who played softball for Houston Christian University … Plans to be involved with FCA … Majoring in kinesiology.
