Dre Denbow is beginning his second year as the video coordinator of the Cowboy basketball program under head coach Mike Boynton.
Denbow serves an instrumental role in scouting upcoming opponents, as well as cutting and evaluating practice and game footage to help each player improve their performances.
In his first year as video coordinator, Denbow was instrumental in the development of a pair of All-Big 12 performers in Jeffrey Carroll and Mitchell Solomon, who led the Cowboys to a school-record-tying 15 home wins.
The Cowboys posted a 21-win campaign in 2017-18 that included six wins over ranked opponents, which tied for the national lead, and a school-record four victories over top-10 squads.
As a graduate assistant for OSU from 2015-17, Denbow played a similar role in helping the Cowboys reach their full potential. With Denbow’s assistance, OSU point guard Jawun Evans became the 22nd All-American in program history, and Jeffrey Carroll grew from a spot shooter into an All-Big 12 wing.
A native of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Denbow earned his undergrad from Florida Gulf Coast in 2014, where he served as a student manager for the basketball program. In fact, Denbow was a part of the Eagle’s magical run to the Sweet 16 in 2013.
In 2013-14, Denbow served as the video coordinator intern with the Charlotte Bobcats under head coach Steve Clifford. He aided in scouting and player development, and helped the Bobcats make the playoffs that season.
Denbow earned his Master’s degree in leisure studies and recreational management from Oklahoma State in 2018.
