2021-22 (Junior Year)
• Always a positive mind around the Cowboy program, Bernard Kouma saw action in six games.
• Was vital to team moral, on and off the court, with positive energy each day of the year.
• Record a season-best three points in the opening-day victory over UT-Arlington on Nov. 9.
2020-21 (Sophomore Season)
• Emerged as a physical and reliable big man with soft touch around the net.
• Pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds in OSU’s key road win at No. 6 West Virginia in the regular season finale. He also added six points in the victory.
• Shot 61.5 percent from the floor on the year, which was second only to Kalib Boone in 2020-21.
• Lauded by the OSU coaches for doing the little things that help win games - screening, communicating, etc.
• Scored six points on 2-of-3 shooting in the NCAA Tournament second-round game against Oregon State.
• Key cog in OSU’s nine wins over AP Top-25 squads, the program’s first Big 12 Championship title game appearance since 2005 and its first NCAA Tournament victory since 2009.
• Earned two starts on the season, including OSU’s win at Wichita State, the AAC regular season champs.
• Hit 6-of-7 free throws on the year for a clip of 85.7 percent from the stripe.
• Scored in 14 games and averaged 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds on the season.
• Saw action in 26 games and averaged 6.8 minutes per contest for the Cowboys.

• Shot 57.3 percent for South Plains College in 2019-20.
• Averaged 4.1 points and posted three double-digit scoring games for the Texans.

• Effective in the paint, Kouma tallied 10 double-digit rebound games as a freshman.
• Was a standout at Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School in New York, where he was ranked among the nation's top 400 recruits of 2018 according to 247Sports.
• Averaged 14.3 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks as a senior at Our Saviour.
• Earned Great Atlantic Conference North Division I second-team honors as a senior.
• In his best outing, Kouma put up 29 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks against Roselle Catholic at the Barclays Center.
• A native of N'Djamena in Chad, Africa, Kouma moved to the United States for high school. He started his prep career at Redemption Christian Academy in Northfield, Massachusetts before moving to Our Saviour Lutheran in New York.
• Kouma played on the Nike EYBL circuit for the New York Lightning, and originally signed with Illinois prior to attending South Plains.
