Sely Patrizio joined the Oklahoma State Sports Medicine staff in June of 2022, working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Cowboy football team.
Patrizio earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of South Carolina (2019) and a Master’s degree in Sport Commerce from the University of Memphis (2021).
While at Memphis, Patrizio served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Memphis football team. During her time, the Tigers won the AAC conference Championship and played in the Good Year Cotton Bowl and Montgomery bowl.
Following her time at Memphis, Patrizio served as the Head Athletic Trainer at John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana for a year. She was an outreach Athletic Trainer through Ochsner Health System.
After her time in Louisiana, Patrizio was selected to be an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the United States Football League providing medical coverage for the Philadelphia Stars prior to being hired full time with Oklahoma State University.
Patrizio is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is Blood Flow Restriction certified and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
