2019 (Senior): Voted by his teammates as a team captain ... Completed 67 percent of his passes and threw seven touchdowns against just one interception in his seven games ... Was called upon to take over quarterback duties after Spencer Sanders injured his hand against Kansas ... Made his first OSU start against West Virginia on the road and helped lead the Cowboys to a 20-13 win over the Mountaineers by completing 22-of-29 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions in cold and rainy conditions ... Honored as Big 12 Newcomer of the Week and OSU’s Offensive game MVP for that performance ... Started against No. 7 Oklahoma the following week and completed 22-of-32 passes for 207 yards in the cold and wind that night ...
