Son of Colleen Hartman Rambusch, who worked for OSU athletics in radio and TV during the Bob Simmons and Eddie Sutton eras; father Mike Cassity, who served as co-defensive coordinator at OSU during a long college coaching career and played football and wrestled at Kentucky; and stepfather Bit Rambusch, who played football and baseball for Army at the United States Military Academy ... Comes from a family of college football coaches and athletes ... Brother, Skyler Cassity, is the defensive coordinator for Abilene Christian football; brother, Hunter Cassity, played safety for Samford football; and stepbrother, Blake Rambusch, is an infielder for Auburn baseball ...
