2016: An All-Big 12 First Team performer ... named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame National Pitcher of the Year Watch List and the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List ... set OSU single-season record with 37 appearances, a total that led the Big 12 and ranked fifth nationally ... his nine saves and .229 opponent batting average ranked second in the Big 12 and he was also third in the league with nine wins ... tied for fifth-most saves in a season in OSU history ... earned first save of career vs. Michigan (3/19) ... made a midweek start at Dallas Baptist (3/15) and racked up a career-high seven strikeouts in a six-inning effort to pick up a win ... pitched in 11 of OSU’s 18 games in the month of March and went 4-0 with four saves and a 1.54 ERA to go along with 27 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings ... was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week twice — March 7 and March 28 ... went 2-0 with six saves in 13 Big 12 outings ... moved into a starting role in the NCAA Tournament and was outstanding, going 3-0 with a 0.78 ERA ... allowed just two runs in 23.0 innings in the NCAA tourney and struck out 16 ... earned a win vs. top-ranked Clemson in the NCAA Regionals (6/4) with a seven-inning gem in which he allowed only one run and struck out six ... the seven innings marked a career high ... was the winning pitcher in game two of the Columbia Super Regional (6/12) to send OSU to the College World Series ... also tossed seven innings against the Gamecocks and allowed just one run ... in OSU’s second game at the CWS, a winner’s bracket game vs. Arizona (6/20), he set a new career-high with eight innings pitched to earn the win ... did not allow a run while striking out six and giving up only three hits ... drafted in the seventh round of the MLB Draft by Houston ... an Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honoree.
2015: Made 19 appearances, including three starts … earned first win of season with season-long 6.2 innings against Grand Canyon (3/14) … allowed just one run on four hits … picked up win in relief against Kansas State (3/28) as he worked five innings and recorded a season-high five strikeouts … earned a win against Texas (4/4) with 3.2 scoreless innings in relief in which he also had five strikeouts … was the starter in the Big 12 Championship title game vs. Texas (5/24) and allowed just one run in four innings … named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team.
2014: Made 14 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts ... named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team ... made debut in relief against Alcorn State (2/18) and struck out five in four innings to earn win ... was the winning pitcher in relief at Baylor (3/23) with four scoreless innings ... earned first-career start vs. TCU (3/29) ... worked seven scoreless innings vs. Oklahoma (5/16) and struck out a career-high six ... did not factor in the decision against the Sooners but win gave OSU Big 12 championship outright ... started Cowboys’ opening game at NCAA Stillwater Regional against Binghamton (5/30) ... worked 4.2 scoreless innings and tied career high with six strikeouts.
