2008: Had a huge impact for the Cowboys as a freshman ... earned second-team All-Big 12 honors at second base ... named a Freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger ... led the Big 12 Conference with a .386 batting average ... named to the All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Stillwater Regional after going 5-for-14 (.357) with a home run and four RBIs ... ended the season on a 14-game hitting streak ... earned a spot in the starting lineup at second base in late March ... in his first-career start, tied OSU and Big 12 records with six hits in a game against UAPB (3/19) ... also tied a school record with six runs ... collected three doubles, a home run and five RBIs in the contest ... during OSU's season-long 12-game winning streak, hit .479 (23-for-48) with 11 RBIs and eight runs ... hit .345 in Big 12 play which ranked second on the team ... was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in a win over Nebraska (4/12) ... had 10 games where he collected three or more hits.
