A JUCO product who spent three seasons in Stillwater ... Went to Sam Houston State to use an extra year of eligibility following the NCAA ruling on COVID-19 ... FInished his career at OSU with 19 games played, three starts, 148 carries, 686 rushing yards, 62 receiving yards and 6 rushing touchdowns.
2021 (Senior): Played in six games, rushing 48 times for 139 yards and two touchdowns ... Also had seven catches for 39 yards ... Best performance of the year came in the win over TCU as he rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries ... Also had a big performance against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship game as he totaled 70 yards of offense, including 31 rushing yards on 19 carries and 39 receiving yards on seven receptions.
2020 (Junior): First team Academic All-Big 12 honoree ... A previously seldom-used squad member who provided one of the best storylines of the season when he put up spectacular numbers in the Cowboys’ win over Texas Tech ... He carried the ball 36 times for 235 yards and had three rushing touchdowns in that game ... He could have easily had four touchdowns but voluntarily took a knee with nobody between him and the goal line in order to keep the clock running after he secured the game-clinching first down in the waning moments ... He added two receptions for 10 yards in that game against the Red Raiders as well ... His 235 rushing yards marked only the fourth time since 2000 that a Cowboy rushed for 230 or more yards against a Big 12 opponent and also ranked as the largest single-game rushing output for any Big 12 player during the 2020 season ... Making that performance even more remarkable is the fact that prior to the game against the Red Raiders, Jackson had only 18 carries in his OSU career, and the majority of those came in late-game mop-up duty ... For his breakthrough performance against Texas Tech, Jackson earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors and the OSU coaches recognized him as the team’s offensive player of the game ... Jackson earned his playing time opportunity after injuries were sustained by the two running backs ahead of him on the depth chart - Chuba Hubbard and LD Brown ... The following week against TCU, Jackson delivered another 100-yard game and another workmanlike effort, carrying 29 times for 118 yards and a touchdown ... Provided a glimpse into his capabilities earlier in the season when he rushed 10 times for 91 yards late in the Cowboys’ blowout win over Kansas ... Finished as the second-leading rusher on the team with 100 carries for 547 yards and four touchdowns ... His four touchdowns tied for third on the team and trailed only a pair of All-Americans in Chuba Hubbard and receiver Tylan Wallace ... Started three games - vs. Texas Tech, TCU and Baylor ... Had eight rushing plays of 20 yards or longer, including a season-long 34-yarder against Kansas.
2019: Redshirted ... Saw action in two games - vs. Baylor and Texas A&M ... Had one catch for nine yards against the Bears.
