2016: An honorable mention All-Big 12 performer … started all 63 games he played in at first base ... led the Big 12 with 14 home runs, the most by a Cowboy since 2009 ... second on the Cowboys with 11 multi-RBI games ... popped first round tripper of the season at UT Arlington (2/20) ... went 2-for-3 with a homer and career-high five RBIs at North Carolina (2/27) ... named the Big 12 Player of the Week on March 14 following a three-game stretch against Missouri State and Abilene Christian that saw him go 5-for-11 (.455) at the plate with four home runs, seven RBIs, 17 total bases and a 1.545 slugging percentage ... homered in all three games — including twice in one of them — and also drove in multiple runs in each contest ... went 2-for-4 with two homers and four RBIs in a win over Oklahoma (5/14) ... a 36th-round MLB Draft pick of Pittsburgh ... named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

2014: Played in 45 games with 23 starts ... was a starter at DH in 14 games and started nine times at first base ... collected first-career RBI on a sacrifice fly against UT Arlington (2/16), an RBI that proved to be the game winner ... recorded first-career hit on an RBI triple against Alcorn State (2/18) ... notched a career-high three RBIs against Manhattan (2/28) ... smashed first-career home run at Kansas (4/20) ... tied career-high with three RBIs at Kansas State (5/11) ... was 3-for-7 with two homers and five RBIs in two games against K-State.
