2013: Named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as a utility player ... tied for fifth in the Big 12 with eight saves, which ranks as the fifth-highest single-season total in OSU history ... four of his saves came in Big 12 play ... logged 46.1 innings and allowed only 18 runs in 29 appearances... his 29 appearances are tied for the fifth most in a single season in program history ... finished the season with a 2.72 ERA and a 6-3 record ... racked up 35 strikeouts ... also appeared at the plate 36 times during the season ... had a three-game hitting streak during a weekend tilt against NJIT (2/23-24) and recorded career-high two RBIs in the third game of the series ... recorded saves in both games of doubleheader vs. Texas (3/30) ... also had saves against Oklahoma (5/11) and West Virginia (5/16) in league play.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: As a sophomore hit .337 with five home runs, 34 RBIs and 15 doubles in 54 games ... hit .326 with six homers and 41 RBIs as a freshman ... was also 3-0 with a 4.22 ERA on the mound.
HIGH SCHOOL: An Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State selection as a senior at Roff HS ... hit .510 with state-best 26 home runs to go along with 65 RBIs in final prep season ... was also 8-1 on the mound ... recruited by Wichita State, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas State and Texas A&M.
PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education... born Jan. 7, 1992 ... son of Scott and Brenda McCurry ... older brother, Randy, was a four-year letterman for the Cowboys from 2009, 2011-13.
