Cowboys in the NFL: Week Two

STILLWATER - The 2026-27 NFL regular season continued into Week 2 over the weekend, with several former Oklahoma State Cowboys seeing action across the league.
Chuba Hubbard and the Carolina Panthers bounced back from their Week 1 blowout loss with a 34-3 rout of the Atlanta Falcons. Hubbard rushed 12 times for 53 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown reception from Bryce Young in the second quarter. Carolina hosts the Cleveland Browns in Week 3.

Jaylen Warren and the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the New England Patriots 20-3. Warren led Pittsburgh with 11 carries for 43 yards and added two catches for 34 yards. Mason Rudolph did not play, remaining Aaron Rodgers' backup.
Tylan Wallace made his second appearance with the Cleveland Browns in a 23-19 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while fellow former Cowboy Teven Jenkins remained sidelined with an injury.
Three former Cowboys were in action in the Detroit Lions' 41-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night. Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez, defensive lineman Tyler Lacy and wide receiver Tay Martin all played roles for Detroit, with Martin having earned a game ball for his special teams work the week before against the New Orleans Saints.
Justice Hill and the Baltimore Ravens dropped their Week 2 matchup 24-17 to the Saints. Hill was held to two carries for 6 yards and added one reception for 12 yards.
Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II rushed three times for 7 yards in the Dolphins' 35-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Cornerback A.J. Green III also played for Miami.
San Francisco linebacker Nick Martin did not play in the win over the Dolphins as he remains on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
The former Cowboys will look to build on their Week 2 performances as the NFL enters Week 3.
