Cowgirl Basketball to face Washington, UMass at Coconut Hoops

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's basketball will compete against Washington and UMass over Thanksgiving break as part of the 2026 Coconut Hoops event in Fort Myers, Fla., the tournament announced Tuesday.
The Cowgirls will open against Washington at 12:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 27, then face UMass the next day at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 28. Both contests will be played inside Florida Gulf Coast's Alico Arena.
The 14-year event features two divisions: the Blue Heron Division (OSU, Washington and UMass), which will be in a round-robin format, and the Great Egret Division (Creighton, FGCU, Houston and Tennessee), which is a bracket format.
Oklahoma State and Washington will meet for the first time since 2003, with the Huskies holding a 2-1 edge in the series history. The Cowgirls and Minutewomen will face off for the first time in the program's history.
Streaming details for the event will be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. CT and can be purchased HERE.
The Cowgirls are coming off a 20-win season and their third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years under head coach Jacie Hoyt. The Pokes return 2025 All-America Honorable Mention Stailee Heard and welcome the country's unanimous No. 1 transfer class, including the top two portal prospects, Audi Crooks and Liv McGill. Crooks was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player last season while playing for Iowa State after scoring 65 points and grabbing 10 rebounds across two tournament games.
