STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's outdoor track & field continued its outdoor season with a tri-meet weekend spanning across the country at the Florida Relays, Texas Relays and Stanford Invitational.
At the Stanford Invitational in California, Nate Collier emerged victorious in the men's Discus Throw after breaking the program record for the second time this season. On the track true freshman Kadence Huck started the day off strong for the Cowgirls, taking home gold in the sixth section of the women's 1,500 Meters with her time of 4:25.74 after leading wire-to-wire. Later in the day, Bella Nelson and Payton Hinkle both took top five spots in their heat of the women's 3,000 Meter Steeplechase. Nelson landed second in the event after clocking a time of 10:22.81, the ninth-fastest time in program history, while Hinkle ended with a time of 10:31.25 en route to a fifth-place finish.
In the men's 10,000 Meters, two Cowboys took spots in the top 10 to cap off the night.
