April 21, 2026 | Cowgirl Softball
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball's Tia Warsop has been named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Week following her standout performances against ranked competition last week, the conference announced today.
Warsop began her week by going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs against then-No. 1/1 Oklahoma on April 15 to help lead OSU to its eighth win over a top-ranked foe in program history. She followed that performance up with a 6-for-11 showing with three RBIs across three games against then-No. 16/16 Arizona, including the walk-off winner in the bottom of the 10th inning in game one against the Wildcats on April 17.
The Northampton, England, native slashed .571/.571/.714 on the week and was one of two players in the conference to bat over .570 with at least five RBIs. The other, Samantha Swan from Arizona State, is the other Co-Player of the Week alongside Warsop.
On the season, Warsop is tied for the team lead in runs scored (35) and is second in batting average (.368) and hits (45). The junior outfielder has notched an RBI in seven of her last nine contests.
This marks the first Big 12 weekly award of Warsop's career.
Warsop and the rest of the Cowgirls close out a stretch of five-straight ranked games tomorrow night against No. 7/4 Texas at 7 p.m. CT in Austin before resuming Big 12 play with a three-game set against Baylor in Waco this weekend.
