February 06, 2026 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State mourns the loss of former Cowboy wide receiver Robert Kirksey, who passed away this week.
A four-year Cowboy letterwinner from 1988-91, Kirksey was an integral part of the team during his career.
He led the team in receiving yards as a junior in 1990 and was elected as a team captain for his senior season in 1991. He totaled more than 1,000 receiving yards in his Cowboy career, becoming just the 12th OSU player to reach that mark.
Kirksey recorded two 100-yard receiving games in his career, registering both a senior in 1991 with 130 yards against Kansas State and 109 yards against Nebraska.
