OSU Track & Field heads to Texas to compete in Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships

LUBBOCK, Texas – Oklahoma State men's and women's indoor track & field squads head to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the Big 12 Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28.
Both the Cowboys and Cowgirls are coming off highly successful regular seasons in which a combined eight school records have fallen thus far.
The Cowgirls have steadily risen in the polls all year, climbing to their current No. 15 ranking as they look to claim their second track & field title in program history (2023). Overall, five Big 12 women's teams enter the competition in the top 25, with No. 3 BYU, No. 8 Texas Tech, No. 10 Kansas State, No. 15 OSU and No. 20 Iowa State all appearing in the latest USTFCCCA Rating Index.
On the men's side, the Cowboys will be looking for their third Big 12 indoor title after three straight second-place finishes. At last year's meet, the Cowboys claimed four individual titles, with Laban Kipkemboi (Mile), Brian Musau (3,000 Meters), Blair Anderson (Long Jump) and the men's Distance Medley Relay all claiming victories. Musau also broke the Big 12 meet record with his time of 7:45.79. Additionally, the Cowboys have won five straight conference titles in the men's DMR.
