Facundo Earns Cowboys’ Fifth Big 12 Wrestler of the Week Honor

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State 174-pounder Alex Facundo earned Big 12 Wrestler of the Week honors after his performance against No. 18 Missouri, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Facundo joins teammates Troy Spratley (125), Sergio Vega (141), Landon Robideau (157), and Zack Ryder (184) as Oklahoma State's five Wrestler of the Week honorees this season, leading the conference in the award. Additionally, it's the most in a season for OSU since 2017.
On January 23, Facundo took down 2025 All-American No. 10 Cam Steed, 2-1, for his fourth ranked win of the season. Facundo now has back-to-back wins against top-10 foes in Steed and OU's then No. 7 Carter Schubert.
