OSU opens the season September 5 when it travels to Tulsa. It is the first time the Cowboys have opened a season at Tulsa since 2000 and the 11th time OSU has played TU in a season opener. The only team the Cowboys have faced more in season openers is Arkansas.
The Cowboys return home the following Saturday to host Oregon September 12 for the first home game of the Eric Morris era. It marks the first time in program history the Cowboys have hosted the Ducks, who are fresh off an appearance in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
Non-conference play rounds out the following game as OSU hosts Murray State for the first meeting between the programs and the only stretch of back-to-back home games on the schedule. Oklahoma State is 32-0 against FCS/NCAA Division I-AA opponents since Division I split in 1978.
OSU's first Big 12 matchup is September 26 at West Virginia, renewing a series that was played for 13 straight years from 2012-24 and marking the Cowboys' earliest ever trip to Morgantown.
After the lone open week of the season on the weekend of October 3, the Cowboys return to Stillwater October 10 for UCF's first visit to Boone Pickens Stadium.
An October 17 trip to Houston wraps up the first half of the regular season.
America's Greatest Homecoming is set for October 24 as Oklahoma State hosts Colorado for the first time since 2009. The last time that Buffaloes came for Homecoming was in 2001.
Following that, the Cowboys head out for their only two-game road stretch of the season, first traveling to Iowa State for their first Halloween road game since 2015 and then heading to Kansas State November 7. It marks the 17th consecutive season OSU has faced Kansas State, which is the longest active streak for any Cowboy opponent.
OSU returns home for a November 14 matchup against 2025 Big 12 champion and CFP quarterfinalist Texas Tech.
The final road game of the season sees the Cowboys travel to Tempe, Arizona, to face Arizona State, marking the fifth time in six seasons that OSU has traveled to the Grand Canyon State.
The regular season finale is set for November 28, as Oklahoma State hosts Kansas the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
