Cowgirl Softball secures partnership with DeMarini, Wilson and EvoShield
September 03, 2025 | Cowgirl Softball
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball has formed a new equipment partnership with DeMarini, Wilson and EvoShield ahead of the 2026 season, it was announced today.
Under a new multi-year agreement with DeMarini, the Cowgirls will swing DeMarini fastpitch bats and use Wilson A2000 ball gloves and wear EvoShield protective gear.
"We are incredibly excited to be teaming up with Wilson, DeMarini and EvoShield," said Kenny Gajewski, Oklahoma State Softball head coach. "This partnership ensures that our student-athletes are equipped with the best gear in the game, from bats and gloves to performance protection. It's a great fit for who we are and how we play, and we can't wait to see how this partnership elevates our game."
The companies' staff recently visited with the Pokes in Stillwater to run a bat fitting experience for the team, allowing each player to swing DeMarini's lineup and find the right bat for them. The team also received custom A2000 gloves along with EvoShield XVT 2.0 batting helmets, Pro-SRZ 2.0 catchers' gear and custom Pro-SRZ 2.0 leg guards, elbow guards, hand guards and sliding mitts.
"Landing Oklahoma State Softball is really big for our DeMarini, Wilson and EvoShield brands, said Jim Hackett, President & General Manager of Wilson Baseball/Softball. "It's an honor for us to work with Coach Gajewski and his program. Every year our goal will be to help the Cowgirls get back to Oklahoma City for the Women's College World Series and bring that national championship trophy home to Stillwater."
The Cowgirls join a roster of DeMarini, Wilson and EvoShield fastpitch softball programs that include Northwestern University, Stanford University and the University of Michigan, among others.
