Game Flow
- Oklahoma State took the lead on the game's opening drive, a nine-play, 57-yard drive capped by Logan Ward's 35-yard field goal with 11:45 left in the first quarter.Â
- Tulsa scored on each of its first four possessions and shut out OSU for the remainder of the first half to take a 16-3 lead into halftime.Â
Postgame Notes
- Rodney Fields Jr. crossed the 100-yard threshold for the first time in his career as the redshirt freshman running back rushed for 113 yards on 17 attempts.Â
- Fields' longest rush of his career - a 36-yard gain - set up the Cowboys' touchdown drive late in the third quarter. Â
- Zane Flores found the end zone with 14:14 left in the fourth quarter following a five-yard rush to mark his first career touchdown as a Cowboy.
- Flores rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown, which set a new career high for the redshirt freshman and are the most for a Cowboy quarterback since Garret Rangel rushed for 77 yards at BYU on Oct. 18, 2024.Â
- Parker Robertson set career highs in tackles (15), tackles for loss (1.5), and pass breakups (2). He also forced the second fumble of his career - and first for OSU this season - with 6:36 remaining in the third quarter. His first career forced fumble was against Central Arkansas on Sept. 2, 2023Â Â
- Dylan Smith made his first career fumble recovery on that play, as well.Â
- Logan Ward was successful on both of his field goal attempts - a 35-yarder and a 49-yarder - which is the sixth time in his career he's made at least two field goals in a game. The 49-yarder was his longest field goal since a 52-yard make against South Dakota State on Aug. 31, 2024.Â
- Oklahoma State's game captains were Terrill Davis, Gavin Freeman, Parker Robertson, Logan Ward.Â
