Cowgirl Soccer’s Hedden Collects Big 12 Honor

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State midfielder Emmy Hedden is the Big 12 Conference Co-Freshman of the Week for Week Five.
Hedden, who shares the award with Arizona State's Addison Baltodano, had an impressive collegiate debut to help lift the Cowgirls to a 5-1 road win at East Texas A&M.
After missing OSU's first seven games due to injury, Hedden was in the starting lineup against the Lions and produced a goal and an assist.
Hedden, a native of Goddard, Kan., notched an assist on OSU's second goal then converted her only shot of the game as she scored on a 35-yard strike upper 90 for the first goal of her career.
