May 08, 2025 | Cowboy Wrestling
STILLWATER – Several Oklahoma State wrestlers and Cowboy RTC members compete Saturday and Sunday at the 2025 Pan-American Championships in Monterrey, Mexico.
The reigning NCAA champion and Hodge Trophy winner, Wyatt Hendrickson, represents the U.S. at 125 kilograms. He is hot off a U.S. Open title where he tallied technical falls in three of four matches and outscored his opponents 45-7 at the event.
Fresh off winning a U20 title at the U.S. Open, incoming freshman LaDarion Lockett represents the U.S. at 74 kilograms. Lockett cruised to a 6-0 weekend on his way to his most recent title, winning each of his first five matches by technical fall then defeating Penn State's Joe Sealey in the finals. This weekend marks Lockett's international debut on the senior level.
Three other members of the Cowboy RTC also compete in this weekend's action, with U.S. Open champions Joey McKenna and Zahid Valencia wrestling at 65 and 86 kilograms, respectively, and Roman Bravo-Young suiting up for Mexico at 57 kilograms.
The 61-, 74- and 86-kilogram brackets run Saturday and the rest of the weight classes compete Sunday. Fans can follow along with live streams on FloWrestling.org, results on uww.org and live updates from @CowboyWrestling on X.
