Hogan Picks Up Monthly Conference Honor

STILLWATER —Oklahoma State equestrian's Riley Hogan has been named the Big 12 Flat Rider of the Month for March, the conference announced Thursday.
This marks the sixth career monthly conference award for Hogan. She has totaled five awards this season, this being the third award in the Flat event. Hogan previously won the award for her performances in the months of October and February.
OSU now has ten monthly conference awards this season, the most ever in a season by the Cowgirls. They also lead the Big 12 this season.
Hogan and the Cowgirls continue to rack up awards in March. Her honor marks the ninth-consecutive season a Cowgirl has won a monthly conference award in March.
In March, Hogan went 4-1 with an MOP. In the Big 12 tournament, she held a perfect 2-0 record, scoring an 89 and 90.33. Her 90.33 score in the title meet against TCU set a new career-high in Flat. In addition, Hogan was awarded the Big 12 Flat Rider of the Year for her season-long performances.
This season, Hogan leads the team in wins and MOPs across any event. She had 22 wins in both Fences and Flat. She earned 11 MOPs in the events, including the Big 12 tournament MOP in Fences.
Hogan and the Cowgirls are set for the NCEA Championships in Ocala, Florida, where they face Texas A&M in the quarterfinal round on April 17.
