Cowgirl Tennis Earns 13th Consecutive NCAA Tournament Bid

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will be making its 13th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as was announced via the NCAA selection show on Monday afternoon.
The Cowgirls will be in the Norman regional, taking on No. 40 Tulsa on Friday at 11 a.m. The winner of that match will then take on the winner of No. 4 Oklahoma and Denver on Saturday at 2 p.m.
OSU has advanced past the first round in 10 of the last 11 tournaments, and it has reached the Sweet 16 in two of the last three and six of the last eight, including last season. Oklahoma State has won four consecutive and nine of 10 against Tulsa, including a win in the 2016 NCAA Tournament on its way to the championship match.
Entering the tournament, the Cowgirls are 19-7 with wins in 12 of their last 13 matches. The Pokes earned a share of their second consecutive Big 12 regular season title and reached the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament for the 10th time in the last 11 conference tournaments.
