Cowgirl Soccer Defeats Tulsa To Conclude Spring

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State defeated Tulsa, 3-2, in a spring exhibition match Friday night at Neal Patterson Stadium.

The game concluded OSU's spring season as the Cowgirls finished 7-0-0 and outscored its opponents, 24-4.

Gracie Bindbeutel collected a brace for the Cowgirls, while Xcaret Pineda also scored.

Tulsa got on the board first after Aniya Facen found the back of the net in the 22^nd minute, but Bindbeutel quickly evened things up for the Cowgirls at 1-1.

OSU would then take the lead with a late first-half goal from Xcaret Pineda and go into intermission up 2-1.

In the second half, it didn't take long for Bindbeutel to find the back of the net again as she scored in the 57^th minute, extending the Cowgirls' lead to 3-1.

However, TU didn't go quietly, and in the 70^th minute, Facen scored again for the Golden Hurricane off a touchline free kick, cutting OSU's lead to one.

OSU's defense held on for the remainder of the game to secure the win.
