Cowgirl Soccer Opens Spring With Two Wins

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State opened its spring exhibition season Sunday at Neal Patterson Stadium with a pair of victories as the Cowgirls defeated UCO, 1-0, before posting a 2-0 win over Southern Nazarene.
In the first game of the day, the first half was scoreless, but the second half saw Cowgirl junior Gracie Bindbeutel scored on a runner from the middle of the box to provide the lone goal of the match.
Logan Marks and Murphy Sheaff combined for the shutout in goal, with Marks playing the opening half.
In the second game, Cowgirl sophomore Aubrey Wagner both goals, netting a shot in the opening half and scoring a header in the second half to secure the win.
Caroline Dill recorded the shutout in the game two victoy.
The Cowgirls return to action March 29 against North Texas at Neal Patterson Stadium.
