Cowboys Head To Lone Star State For Maridoe Intercollegiate

CARROLLTON, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be in search of its third win of the season when it begins play at the Maridoe Intercollegiate at Maridoe Golf Club this week.
The fourth-ranked Cowboys have finished in the top three in each of their past five starts after a third-place showing in their last outing at the Pauma Valley Invitational. Head coach Alan Bratton's squad will be one of 13 teams in action at the par-71, 7,569-yard layout.
The 54-hole event will consist of 36 holes on Monday and conclude with Tuesday's round.
The Cowboys wrapped up the Big 12 Fall Series in October of 2020 with a three-shot victory at the Maridoe Collegiate. Current PGA Tour standout Austin Eckroat was the runner-up at the event with a 216 total.
This week's lineup will consist of the sophomore quartet of Ethan Fang, Preston Stout, Eric Lee and Gaven Lane as well as freshman Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson. Junior John Wild will compete individually.
Fang finished sixth in OSU's last outing to extend his run of top-10 finishes to seven in a row. He was joined in the top 10 by Lee, who tied for seventh place.
OSU will begin play on Monday at 8 a.m. and will be grouped with Arizona State and North Texas.
Sophomore Johnnie Clark will be in action as well at the 2025 Spring Indy at Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club in Ardmore, Okla.
