Four Cowgirls Remain in ITA Rankings

STILLWATER – Four members of Oklahoma State's women's tennis team appeared in Tuesday's ITA singles and doubles rankings.
Gracie Epps (58), Anastasiya Komar (81) and Marcela Lopez (104) all remained in the singles rankings, while Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp ascended to No. 39 in the doubles poll. In the team rankings, Oklahoma State is up two spots to No. 34 after a 4-1 win against Kansas State last Friday.
Epps is 8-5 on the season, spending most of her time at the No. 3 position, with four of her wins coming at that spot. Komar is also 8-5 with wins in three straight and four of five to open conference play, while Lopez is 5-0 on the year and 2-0 against Big 12 opponents.
In doubles, Komar and Nijkamp have won three consecutive matches to open Big 12 play after starting the season on a seven-match win streak. The pair has played every match from the No. 1 position this season and has picked up two ranked wins along the way.
The Cowgirls will be back at home this weekend, taking on No. 36 Arizona State on Friday at 6 p.m. before hosting No. 35 Arizona on Sunday at 2 p.m.
