Cowboy Baseball Concludes Trip With Midweek Contest

- Oklahoma State concludes its season opening trip to Arlington, Texas with a Tuesday night game against Texas State as part of the Amegy College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
- The Cowboys opened the season going 1-2 at the Shriners Children's College Showdown. OSU dropped a one-run contest to No. 8 Clemson in its season opener before scoring 12 unanswered runs to throttle Louisville on Saturday. The Pokes closed out the weekend with a loss to No. 13 Texas.
- OSU is 4-2 all time against Texas State under head coach Josh Holliday.
- Over the last four seasons, OSU has played 31 games at Globe Life Field. The Pokes are 18-13 all time at the home of the Texas Rangers, going 5-5 in 2022, 5-4 in 2023 and 7-2 a year ago.
- OSU is the preseason Big 12 Conference favorite and is ranked as high as #13 in the national preseason polls.
- The Cowboys are coming off their third-straight 40-win season in 2024, finishing 42-19. They return six position starters from that team.
- Texas State opened its season at home with a three-game series sweep of Binghamton, outscoring Bearcats, 19-12.
- TXST is coming off a 27-29 season in 2024 in which if finished 10th in the Sun Belt standings. The Bobcats brought in 27 new players in 2025 and were picked in the preseason to finish eighth in the league standings.
