Cowgirl Softball releases 2026 schedule
December 10, 2025 | Cowgirl Softball
STILLWATER – The 2026 Oklahoma State softball schedule is highlighted by 21 home contests and a handful of premier early-season tournaments.
The Cowgirls are coming off a 35-20 season that culminated in their ninth consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and a trip to the NCAA Fayetteville Regional Final – OSU's sixth-straight NCAA Regional Final berth.
Over half of the Cowgirls' 2026 games (34 of 53 scheduled contests) are against teams that finished the 2025 season inside the Top 75 of the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), while OSU plays 26 contests against teams that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Oklahoma State begins its 2026 season in Palo Alto, California, for the Stanford Invitational from February 5-7, where the Pokes face off against San Jose State, California (twice) and the hosts Stanford (twice). OSU and Stanford's season-opening contest will mark the first game played at the brand-new Stanford Softball Stadium.
The Cowgirls travel across the country the following week to Clearwater, Florida, for the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational presented by Evoshield from February 12-14. OSU is slated to match up against Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA and Duke in the marquee tournament.
From there, the Pokes head to San Marcos, Texas, for the River State Classic hosted by Texas State from February 19-21, where they'll play UMKC, Texas State, Brown (twice) and Colorado State. OSU has never played Brown before and will face Texas State for the first time since 2016.
After three weeks on the road, the Cowgirls return to Stillwater to host the OSU/Tulsa Invitational from February 26-March 1 for the start of an 11-game homestand. OSU is set to take on Nebraska (three times), Southeast Missouri (twice) and South Dakota State.
The Pokes welcome Missouri State to Cowgirl Stadium on March 4 before opening Big 12 play with a three-game series against UCF in Stillwater from March 6-8.
A midweek contest against Wichita State in Stillwater on March 11 precedes a trip to Arizona that includes a three-game series with Arizona State in Tempe from March 13-15 and a matchup against Grand Canyon in Phoenix on March 17.
OSU returns to Cowgirl Stadium just two days later to begin a three-game series against BYU from March 19-21.
A nine-game road swing begins with a midweek contest against Tulsa on March 25, then a three-game set at Utah from March 27-29.
Following a week off, the Pokes head up I-35 to take on Wichita State on April 8 before continuing north to Ames for a three-game series against Iowa State from April 10-12.
The Cowgirls round out the road swing with Bedlam at Devon Park in Oklahoma City on April 9 before hosting Arizona for a marquee three-game series in Stillwater from April 17-19.
Oklahoma State heads south for a week in Texas, starting with a game against the reigning NCAA Champions, Texas, in Austin on April 22, followed by a three-game set against Baylor in Waco from April 24-26.
The regular season concludes with four games at Cowgirl Stadium – a midweek contest against Tulsa on April 29, then a three-game series against Kansas from May 1-3.
