Cowgirls’ schedule for Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational announced

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball will compete in the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational for the ninth time from Feb. 12-14 as ESPN announced the schedule for the premier tournament today.
The Cowgirls open the competition against Georgia at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 12. OSU and Georgia have met eight times before, with the series tied at 4-4.
Oklahoma State then faces LSU at 2 p.m. CT later that afternoon. This will be the fourth meeting in Clearwater between the teams, with previous matchups in 2019, 2022 and 2024. Oklahoma State trails the all-time series, 6-12.
For the second straight season, OSU takes on Texas A&M in Clearwater, with first pitch set for 9 a.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 13. Last season, the Pokes beat the Aggies, 6-5, in dramatic fashion after a four-run seventh inning was capped off by a walk-off two-run home run from Karli Godwin.
Later that day, Oklahoma State meets UCLA at 2 p.m. CT. The Cowgirls fell to the Bruins, 6-4, in last year's tournament opener, and trail the all-time series, 6-13.
The Pokes wrap up the competition against Duke at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 14. OSU and Duke have only met once before, a 4-0 win for the Blue Devils in 2022.
TV designations are set to be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational will go on sale at noon CT on Thursday, Nov. 13.
