Cowboys In The NFL: Week Nine

STILLWATER – Week Nine of NFL regular season action kicked off last weekend, with several former Cowboys leading their teams to victory.

Steelers running back Jaylen Warren cashed in a career-high 2 rushing touchdowns in Pittsburgh's 27-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Through seven games played this season, Warren is averaging 85.3 scrimmage yards per game, with 404 rushing yards on 99 carries and 21 receptions for 193 yards through the air. The fourth-year back will look to continue excelling in his workhorse role next week, as the Steelers head to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers on Sunday Night Football, with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m. CDT.

Tyler Lacy picked up his first sack of the season on Sunday as his Detroit Lions narrowly fell 27-24 to the Minnesota Vikings. Lacy, a 2023 fourth-round pick, also added 4 tackles to his season-best stat line. The Lions look to get back in the win column next week against the Washington Commanders at 3:25 p.m. CDT on Sunday.

Fellow former OSU defensive lineman Emmanuel Ogbah also added his first sack of the year, combining with Jaguars teammate Joshua Hines-Allen to take down Raiders quarterback Geno Smith. Ogbah's 3 tackles, including a tackle for loss, helped Jacksonville to a 30-29 overtime victory over Las Vegas to improve their record to 5-3 on the year.

Justice Hill, Tylan Wallace and the Baltimore Ravens won their second game in a row, defeating Ollie Gordon II and the Miami Dolphins, 28-6, on Thursday Night Football. The Ravens look to continue their winning streak next Sunday in Minnesota, facing off against the Vikings at noon CDT.
