Quick Summary:

This was the first-ever men's basketball meeting between the schools. They're scheduled to meet again in Oklahoma City during the 2026-27 season.
Thursday's game was the Cowboys' first against a Big Ten foe since December 2019 (vs. Minnesota in Tulsa).
The Cowboys improved to 11-8 all-time in Chicago and 4-1 on Thanksgiving. This was OSU's first visit to Chicago since the 2005 NCAA Sweet 16 at Allstate Arena.

OSU (7-0) is out to its best start and longest winning streak since the 2019-20 season.
The Pokes have totaled at least 85 points in each of their first seven games, breaking a school record held by Marcus Smart and the 2013-14 team.
The Cowboys have also now tied the school record for consecutive 85-point games (at any point in the season), matching the 1980-81 team.

Individual Notes:

Parsa Fallah notched his first double-double at OSU and the fourth of his career as he finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Fallah is the sixth different Cowboy to record a double-double this season, and the third to do so in three-straight games.
Kanye Clary tied his career high with three steals.
Vyctorius Miller, who entered the contest leading the Cowboys with 17.5 points per game, finished with 17 and was 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Jaylen Curry, who was coming off the first 30-point, 10-assist game in OSU history, continued his tear with 18 points and four assists.
Fallah is the lone Cowboy to start every game this season.
Senior forward Robert Jennings II missed his fourth consecutive contest. Prior to this stretch, he had made 39 straight starts since becoming a Cowboy in 2024-25.
