October 07, 2025 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The fifth week of NFL action concluded Monday, with several former Cowboys' teams earning victories.
Tyler Lacy, Malcolm Rodriguez and the Detroit Lions cruised to a 37-24 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon, improving their record to 4-1. After a loss in Week One, the Lions have won four straight games and now head to Arrowhead Stadium next Sunday to face the reigning AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Week Six's edition of Sunday Night Football at 7:20 p.m. CDT.
Former Poke playmaker Tay Martin has recorded receptions in each of the Washington Commanders' two games and played valuable special teams snaps since he was called up from the team's practice squad two weeks ago. Martin and the Commanders rolled to a 27-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, moving to 3-2 on the season. Washington is primed for a Monday Night Football matchup against former Cowboy linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga and the Chicago Bears next week, with kickoff set for 7:15 p.m. CDT.
Emmanuel Ogbah and the Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up the week with a thrilling 31-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. After going 4-13 in 2024, the Jaguars have already matched last season's win total thanks to a 4-1 start to the year. Next up for Jacksonville is a noon CDT matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
