Stailee Heard Named To Naismith Trophy List

STILLWATER – Preseason honors continue to roll in for Oklahoma State standout Stailee Heard, who was among the players named to the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Watch List.
The honor comes a day after Heard was named to the 20-player watch list for the Cheryl Miller Award, which recognizes the best small forward in women's college basketball.
A unanimous All-Big 12 pick entering this year, Heard is coming off a sophomore campaign in which she earned honorable mention All-America status and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection. Additionally, she was named to the USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Midseason Watch List.
A native of Sapulpa, Okla., she averaged 16.8 points and 8.2 rebounds over 32 contests last season while leading OSU to a 25-7 mark and an NCAA tournament berth.
This past summer, Heard was invited to participate at the 2025 USA Basketball Women's AmeriCup Team Trials and also played this past spring with teammates Faith Acker, Micah Gray and Jadyn Wooten at USA Basketball 3X Nationals.
