Series History: Cowboys Renew Series with Arizona

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State and Arizona will meet for the 10^th time on Saturday afternoon in a series that dates back to 1931.

Saturday's contest marks the first meeting between the two teams as conference opponents and the first time they have faced off since 2012.

The Cowboys lead the series 5-4, but Arizona holds a 4-1 edge in games played in Tucson. OSU interim coach Doug Meacham is in his second career game as a head coach, and Arizona's Brent Brennan has never faced OSU.

In OSU's 36-10 win over Arizona in the Alamo Bowl in 2010, Justin Blackmon nabbed nine receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while Brandon Weeden totaled 244 yards on 25-for-41 passing with a pair of touchdowns. The win capped off OSU's first 11-win season in program history.

Kickoff for Saturday's contest is set for 2 p.m. at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, with the game to be broadcast on TNT Sports and carried live on the Cowboy Radio Network.
