Cowgirl Softball unveils Big 12 Conference schedule

STILLWATER – The Big 12 Conference has released its schedule for the upcoming 2026 softball season, with Oklahoma State Softball set to host four conference series at Cowgirl Stadium.
Head coach Kenny Gajewski enters his 11th season at the helm for Cowgirl Softball and returns 11 players while welcoming 12 newcomers to America's Brightest Orange.
For the first time in two years, the Cowgirls will open league play in Stillwater against UCF for a three-game series from March 6-8.
Following the Big 12 opener, OSU travels to Tempe, Ariz., for a series against Arizona State from March 13-15. The Cowgirls and Sun Devils split their two meetings last season, while this year's contests mark the first Big 12 series between the two teams.
The Pokes then return home to host BYU for a three-game set from March 19-21 (Thurs.-Sat.). The Cowgirls and Cougars have only met in Stillwater once before, with OSU winning 3-1 in 2019.
From there, OSU hits the road for back-to-back series – first in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a tilt against the Utes from March 27-29, then in Ames, Iowa, for a three-game set against Iowa State from April 10-12.
Following the two weeks on the road, the Cowgirls return to Stillwater for a three-game series against Arizona from April 17-19. OSU and Arizona last met in Stillwater for the 2024 NCAA Super Regionals, where the Pokes swept the Wildcats by a combined margin of 18-4 across two contests.
The Cowgirls then head south for a three-game set in Waco, Texas, against Baylor from April 24-26 before returning home to conclude the regular season against Kansas from May 1-3 in Stillwater.
The 2026 Big 12 Softball Tournament presented by Allstate returns to Devon Park in Oklahoma City and is set for May 7-9. New this season, the tournament will feature eight teams.
