October 22, 2025 | Cowgirl Cross Country & Track
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State women's track & field and cross country athlete Sivan Auerbach was named a Top 30 finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.
Last year, Auerbach became the first female athlete in NCAA Cross Country history to win back-to-back Elite 90 awards for her academic achievements. She graduated this spring from OSU as a double major in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
On the track, Sivan completed an accomplished Cowgirl career, finishing as a two-time Big 12 Champion in the indoor 1,000 Meters and was a two-time first team All-American in 2021 and 2024 as a member of the Distance Medley Relay. She also holds Israeli national records in the indoor and outdoor Mile and 1,000 Meters, indoor 800 Meters and outdoor 1,500 Meters.
Established in 1991, the award is rooted in Title IX and recognizes female student-athletes who have completed their undergraduate studies and distinguished themselves in their community, in athletics and in academics throughout their college careers.
Selected from a record-breaking 631 nominees submitted by member schools — a group that was then narrowed to 167 nominees at the conference level — the Top 30 honorees include 10 from each of the three NCAA divisions.
From these 30 finalists, the Woman of the Year Selection Committee will choose the 2025 NCAA Woman of the Year, who will be announced this fall and recognized at the NCAA Convention in January.
