Cowboys In The NFL: Week Seven

STILLWATER – Several Cowboy Football alumni returned to the field last weekend for Week Seven of the 2025 NFL season.

Jaylen Warren posted a career-best 158 yards from scrimmage in a prime-time Thursday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, pairing 16 carries for 127 yards with 4 receptions for 31 yards through the air.

Despite the fourth year running back's best efforts, the Steelers fell 33-31 and look to rebound against fellow pro Poke Collin Olliver and the Green Bay Packers in this week's edition of Sunday Night Football, with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m. CDT.

2019 Big 12 Player of the Year Chuba Hubbard returned to the Carolina Panthers' lineup this week after missing the team's two prior games due to injury. Hubbard turned 16 touches into 55 yards as the Panthers beat the New York Jets, 13-6, to win their third game in a row and improve to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers are set to host the Buffalo Bills next week at noon CDT.

Ollie Gordon II (Fort Worth, TX/Euless Trinity) of the Miami Dolphins handled a modest 6 touches in a 31-6 loss to Teven Jenkins and the Cleveland Browns. The Dolphins look to bounce back next week, as they travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons, whose offense is led by now-offensive coordinator and former Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson.

Tyler Lacy and the Detroit Lions wrapped up the week's action with a commanding 24-9 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 5-2 Lions are set to take their bye week before a Week 9 intra-divisional matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
